We send as many shipments as possible by letter instead of parcel. Letters have a better ecological balance because they are mostly distributed by bicycle and can usually be delivered on the first attempt.
We do not purchase paper, filling material or envelopes - instead, we reuse these materials from our suppliers, which are normally generated as waste in incoming goods.
Unsere 3D-Drucker, das Büro und die Werkstatt werden zu 100% mit Ökostrom versorgt. Indem wir diesen von Greenpeace Energy beziehen, leisten wir einen weiteren Beitrag zum Umweltschutz.
The energy needed to host this site is 100% hydroelectric. The CO² emission is therefore 0%.
Even better than recycling is not needing something at all. That's why we don't print out manuals and invoices, but send them as PDFs and limit other paper consumption to the bare minimum.
German Electric and Electronic Devices Act – ElektroG
We have been assigned the following WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) registration number by the competent authority (EAR Foundation) for registration in the WEEE register:
WEEE-Reg.-No DE 38872315
Information according to § 17 of the ElektroG (take-back obligations for distributors)
We have neither sales areas nor storage and shipping areas for electrical and electronic equipment with at least 400 square meters each. We therefore have no take-back obligation pursuant to Section 17 (1) ElektroG. We also do not take back old appliances voluntarily. Please contact your city or local government to find out about free return options for old appliances in your area.
Information according to § 18 of the ElektroG (information for private households)
The symbol of the crossed-out trash can on an electrical or electronic device indicates that it must not be disposed of with household waste at the end of its service life. Collection points for used electrical and electronic equipment are available in your area for free return. You can obtain the addresses from your city or local government. You can also contact us to find out about other return options we have set up. The separate collection of WEEE is intended to enable the reuse, recycling or other forms of recovery of waste equipment, as well as to avoid negative consequences on the environment and human health when disposing of hazardous substances that may be contained in the equipment. You are responsible for deleting any personal data that may be present on the waste equipment to be disposed of. You can also find more information at www.elektrogesetz.de.
